Olive Oil Harvest Experience in Greece

November 2025

We are considering a trip to Greece this November for participants to experience the olive oil harvest and production of olive oil first-hand. Last year we did this as a study abroad experience for BYU students. It was fantastic! The students really enjoyed picking olives in beautiful olive groves, seeing harvested olives milled into olive oil, tasting the freshly-squeezed oil oil, and bringing just harvested olive oil back home to enjoy with their families and friends. The students also enjoyed cooking classes and seeing the sites and scenery. We think that others would like to have a similar experience -- so we are considering offering this as a Pages Abroad experience in November 2025. The dates would be approximately November 15-24, when the olive harvest is usually at its peak. Let us know if are interested in this experience. Check out what the experience would be like here.
